Will Rogers Archway

"I loved it, my kids love seeing all the trucks and cars go under while we eat McDonald's/subway. We always encourage people when going from Texas to Oklahoma to pass by Roger wills archway, or going from Oklahoma to Texas."

"It's convenient and nice to have right in the middle of the i-44 Will Rogers turnpike. It has a McDonald's route 66 souvenir shop, Subway, and maverik gas station all that you need and nice clean restrooms"

"I have been a frequent visitor here since 1989. Moved to Springfield, MO for fiance's job transfer from Bartlesvlle,OK Many trips to visit my immediate family in McAlester,OK. In addition, trips to visit husband's grandma and aunt in Wiburton, OK over the years. Last but not least, numerous family camping / fishing trips to Robber's Cave State Park. Enjoying tent camping; fishing in our 5 man raft; swimming; hiking, paddle boats; museum; pool; and mini golf. We also visited craft festivals & enjoyed the vendors; musicians; and rides. Moreover, the firework displays on July 4th!. We even enjoyed renting a cabin several times. Moved back to McAlester in 2011. Continued to travel to MO to visit my daughters & granddaughters! Still one of my favorite stops to eat, shop, & fill up vehicle. Always clean restrooms and 2 fast food restaurants to choose from. Large mezzanine with many places to sit while eating and enjoying a bird eye view of all the travelers.When you are blessed to stop at sunrise or sunset you can gaze at an awesome view of the Lord's handiwork! I recommend this stop for families! God bless all the families who visit here on their many adventures. Keep up the good work! To all of the employees, managers, custodial & maintenance crews, and shop owners who are employed here. They continue to provide great customer service, a hot meal, and caffeine ( Lol! ) to all of the weary travelers who visit. They serve during rain,,sleet, snow /ice, or sunshine!"

There are good food choices, clean restrooms and a comfortable atmosphere for travelers. It is a great place to take a break, stretch your legs and enjoy a moment before getting back on the road."
