Even with the lowest fare, a round trip for a family of four costs around $200, making a car a more practical option since it allows the freedom to explore multiple viewpoints. All coaches offer a similar viewing experience, so upgrading to Vista Dome or higher classes isn’t necessary unless you want to enjoy food and drinks on board. The journey is more about the nostalgic train experience than convenience or scenery. That said, the conductors, guides, and musicians on board are fantastic and truly enhance the trip!"
