"Such a beautiful, colorful, and cultured area. I enjoyed my stroll and shopping through the Callejones. It was very crowded even on a week day mostly everyone wore their masks. Except some chola tough girl who probably wanted confrontation. Asides from that I wouldn't mind coming back here a couple times a year. You can find so many different things. I bought a loteria pictured backpack that became my favorite thing. Parking isn't too bad but the restrooms are dirty despite them charging you to use them.. but if you're desperate because you've been drinking so much agua fresca then you won't care."

"Street shopping and many many small shops selling shoes clothing suits and toys. There must be over 500 stores. Need to know your prices so you don’t overpay. I do not recommend staying after dark. Street parking and supervised parking. Don’t carry valuables on you or in the car. Stay alert."

"I love going to the callejones. You always find great deals on clothes (t-shirts, socks, calzones, etc) and other items and the fact that the clothes are cheap in price doesn't mean that they are cheaply made; remember that we have a big manufacturing district and also a textile district so that's where many of the clothes come from, also from China but let's be real what doesn't come from China nowadays? And I think that the quality has gotten better. It's conveniently located, not that far from the 10 and there's public transportation in case you don't want to deal with parking but if you have to I would recommend looking for a place to park between Los Angeles Street and Hill Street. There's places where you can park for 5-8 dlls right in the middle of everything but I don't like it because there's always so many people walking and the streets are kind of narrow so I rather walk for a little bit to avoid that headache and it's not that bad because there's soo much to see and in case you give in to the food they sell around there at least you'll be getting a bit of exercise with the walk."
