"The people and the environment are phenomenal. If you are looking for some quality with reasonable prices, bingo. The turquoise is real like I used to find in the 60s. The fact that's you are in what is a 400 or so year old building is amazing to me. It is also across from the oldest church. Really is a great stop. Straight up, this is a got to go place in the future when my family is with me."

"The oldest house and gift shop is across the street from San Miguel Chapel which also happens to be the oldest Chapel in the the U.S. The oldest house is free admission (donations accepted). It a 2 room Adobe home that has been restored. There are artifacts that were found during the restoration that is on display. It is worth the time to go inside to look and read about life in the southwest."

"It's a quick visit. The gifts shop was packed, but had cool artifacts. Parking was easy since people come and go. And it's located in a beautiful area full of historic buildings."

"I had a lovely conversation with the gentleman who owns the shop. He directed us to other places in Santa Fe to visit and gave us a map and list of his favorites. He also filled us in on the history of the attached Oldest House in USA which was very cool. I got several reasonably priced souvenirs too!"

"Very small, but worth seeing. Free to visit, but donations are recommended. The gift shop is very nice. Free parking which is a rarity in Santa Fe."
