The variety of scent options and candle vessel choices was impressive, and the entire experience was thoughtfully curated. Our chandler was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful—guiding us through the process with genuine enthusiasm. From start to finish, it was such a fun and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m bringing more friends along to share the fun!"

We were greeted, told to sign a waiver, and given a mini clipboard so we could take down notes as we smelled our way through a wall of options. The wall was organized by smell category and had some seasonal options at the end. We were instructed to write down as many smells as we like, and then narrow it down to 3 and approach the bar. The bar is where the staff will gather the 3 bottles of scent oil for you to smell in combinations of 2. Once you've picked your two, my group was instructed to pick a candle jar (this is what determines the price) and sit all together. Our instructor (which was the owner) taught us how to attach the wick, and then provided us with measuring cups to mix the oils and smell the ratio until it was full and to our liking. Then the instructor provided us with the melted wax to pour into our jars on top of the oils. This was fun to make a custom candle and smell each others' concoctions. The only qualm I have is with the glitter options. I had a fear that adding glitter to a candle was a health hazard, as I thought it would be burning plastic glitter. I asked the owner about this and he pretty much told me not to worry about it. I googled my concern and there is a specific brand of glitter that is safe in burning candles, and I asked the owner if this is what he used, and he said he was pretty sure it was. I wasn't too convinced of his answer and passed on adding the glitter for $1 extra. It's a small thing that's avoidable if you care about it like I did. Overall I would be back! They have you wait a minimum of 2 hours to pick up your candle as it cools, so we got dinner and perused the street shops until pickup time. They packaged the candles cutely and provided safety instructions and the option to come back and refill the candle. Once home, I lit my candle in the living room, and the seasonal scent oils I chose must not have a large scent throw, as it wasn't very potent. I then moved the candle to my home office, which is a smaller room, and that was a better experience. Thanks for having us!"
