"This visitor center was nice and had loads of information about the caverns right below it. It is also the access point for the elevators and trails into the cavern. The cavern is quite nice, you can go to two areas on your own after you pay for tickets, the Natural Entrance and Big Room, but you can also get guided tours here into areas not usually accessible, like the Kings Palace. The cavern is nice and dark, only lightly lit up with lights that highlight the formations, and the paths are fully paved into the cavern."

"Just one of the truly best National Parks (and we have now been to 36). Get a reservation on recreation.gov and take the 2 hour self guide tour. We probably should have done the audio tour as it provides more information. The various rooms and sections all look a little different to keep it interesting. Warning: this can take a lot of walking. So, if you can take walking down 75 flights of stairs, you are good. Otherwise, take the elevator down and up."

"It is amazing placing to visit. For older people is better to use the elevator. Got to see it at least once in your lifetime if live far away. A lot of walking down the path. It takes like 1:30 walking if you are admiring the view. Not to crowded. Perfect to visit in January."

"Great visitor center. A reservation/timed entry is required to do a tour (if you have the America the Beautiful pass, that covers the tour fee of $15. Timed entry costs $1). The tours are self-guided. There are elevators and is handicap accessible. You can also take the elevator back up at the end of the tour. The natural entrance and big room tour is somewhat strenous in parts. It takes about an hour to complete with many steep walkways (incline and decline). There are benches throughout the trail. It really is a must see. Tons of formations and the vastness is unmatched."

"The visitor center is very well organized and helpful. There are two rangers at the information desk who guide you through everything you need to know before entering the caverns. The ticket counter is easy to find and the entry fee is fifteen dollars per person for the self-guided tour. The exhibits inside are interesting, especially the large cave model and displays about the formations. There is also a good selection of souvenirs. A great place to start your visit and get all the details before heading into the caverns"
