DeKalb Oasis Travel Plaza

"A staple place to stop if going on your way up to Chicago or coming back from Chicago. There a a few good places to eat such as Panda Express, Sbarro Pizza, Subway and McDonald's as well. If its after 10pm thr McDonald's is 24 hours which is very nice to have especially if you get caught in Chicago traffic leaving from a concert, a football game, hockey game, basketball game or baseball game. Also a good place to stretch and use the bathroom. The 7-11 there is nice as well to get a fountain soda, chips, candy, coffee etc etc. Also middle place to get gas before you get into the big city before prices go up. We stop here every time. Also easy to get in and out as well."

"Great oasis this oasis is on the side of the road compared to the other three being over the road this oasis has no broken lighting like the other three over the road oasis.Free WiFi,clean restrooms,Great outdoor and indoor seating area, great restaurant selections McDonalds,subway,panda express,and sbarro,There also used to be Starbucks,Popeyes,Travel mart,Lottery machine Before 2020.Otherwise still a great place to stop by and is convenient."

"Very clean restrooms and eating area always good food options: subway,panda express,McDonalds,sbarro.lighting inside the building looks like it is all working compared to the over the road oasis that have a lot of lighting issues. Lots of the lights inside the over the road pavilion oasis are not working. overall this oasis on the side of the road is good to take a 30 minute break before heading to Chicago or Iowa."

"SUPER CLEAN. I don't know if I just happened to show up right after they had done a cleaning or if they keep their bathrooms like sparkly...But it looked cleaner than my bathroom at home!! They have Tons and tons of options for snacks drinks. So on and so forth and this is much more a truck stop than it is just a gas station , although you can get gas as well. It's well-lit, there's plenty of space.I felt safe.I had my 2 kids with me.They felt safe.I would say it's good to go..."

"We always stop at this location on our way to Chicago. It's always the same Cashier and Manager. I finally got the app and the cashier helped me through it and was able to get my meal discounted. The cashier is very detailed and you can tell she knows and does her job very well. The manager also helped get me a discount on the app. Very much appreciated. I will continue to go to this location. Only complaint is the staged hash rounds that don't hold a temp for long. They're usually luke warm."
