"Always well maintained. Three ponds and one fountain with attractive foliage. Turtles live in lower pond. Tarantulas come out at night and javelina too. Saw roadrunner yesterday which was a first. Over 20 truck parking spots and plenty of auto parking. Visitors lobby, 6 restrooms, vending machines and numerous covered picnic tables."

"This is such a beautiful rest area. It's big and has a lot of history attached to it. Parking goes around the building. It also has lots of picnic tables under gazebos and 4 small ponds. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because you can't get sleep here. It's in-between the interstate and the railroad that comes from the ports so it's very load. It's a must stop if near Laredo though"

"OTR: Limited overnight parking. Clean, bathrooms 24/7. Picnic tables. Walking trails, with ponds, and plenty seating. Grassy areas too."
