Main Line Station Rest Stop Northbound

The facilities are spotless (which is exactly what you hope for on a road trip), and the restrooms are some of the nicest you’ll find on the highway. There’s plenty of parking, easy access in and out, and good spots to stretch your legs if you’ve been driving awhile. The layout makes it stress-free, whether you’re just running in for a quick restroom break or want to linger a little. It feels safe, open, and well-lit, which is a big plus for late-night or early-morning stops. What makes it stand out compared to the average roadside pull-off is that it ties into the history of Route 66. You’re not just stopping for a restroom — you’re right in the middle of central Illinois’ Route 66 country, close to Atlanta and Lincoln, with fun roadside giants and small-town charm just minutes away."

Plenty of car/truck/RV parking. "Be a Beacon of light so others can find their way. Safe and happy travels!" Be'Be'"

Wish they would at least set up porta potty. But outside of rest stop looked well maintained with benches and trash cans and a playground and plenty of parking spots."
