Missouri Welcome Center

"The Missouri Welcome Center was a surprisingly nice stop. It’s clean, quiet, and easy to get in and out of. The bathrooms were spotless, and everything felt well-maintained. Inside, there were plenty of travel brochures and maps for anyone passing through. And believe it or not—they still have pay phones! You don’t see those much anymore. No staff on site, but the place runs smooth. Perfect spot to take a quick break, clear your head, and keep your trip moving."

"Lovely facility to take a break along Highway 55. Even truckers can rest here. The place is clean, well-maintained, with ample car parking and a pet area. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are also available. A great spot to rest before continuing your drive."

"Beautiful and well-maintained rest area in Missouri. It has a playground for kids, picnic tables including some under shelters, and very clean restrooms. There's also a small information center and a large parking area for trucks. Truckers — if you arrive before midnight, you’ll likely find a spot. After that, it gets tight. Great place to rest and stretch out."

"We stopped to use restroom, and the place was very clean. The folks in the welcome center where so nice as it was my 1st visit to the state and got a lot of brochures to share with my mom so we can plan some trips. Inside and out where we'll cleaned, loved the playground for little ones to enjoy. Lots of parking for cars and even for truckers or those hauling trailers or rvs. Definitely will be back just because it was so beautiful"
