"I had never been here before, and didn’t even know of this place. I was driving through Missouri and saw a small tattered sign on the main highway. I chose to go check it out, I needed to take a walk anyhoo. I was very surprised to see this beautiful area. They had some very nice structures and paved walking trails. The dam is not very big but it is very nice. I love the veterans war memorial… Peaceful and beautiful! I would love to come back when everything is in bloom. ENJOY🤗🥰"

"What a great afternoon we had at the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center. The Saturday we stopped by was pirate day. My husband and I got to participate in a reptile show. Great fun"

"Very nice visitor center. Information on the area, the dam and local wildlife was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. One of the nicest visitor centers I've been to. Picinic area, play area and outside stage area is available. Lots of parking."
