"The Pecos National Historical Park Visitor Center serves as an excellent starting point for any visit to the park. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are always available to offer insights, answer questions, and provide guidance to enhance the visitor experience. By providing this foundational knowledge, the museum prepares visitors to embark on the walking tour trail that leads through the Pecos Pueblo ruins. One bit of advice take Exit 307 to Rowe, NM since the Pecos National Historical Park and Visitor Center is closer to Rowe than it is to Pecos, NM."

"This park is beautiful, and the ruins are very interesting. The views on the trail are spectacular! I love that, while walking on the trail, there are little direction signs and information posts that represent what happened to the people here, and a slight look into their lives. The Visitors Center offers a free short movie, and a few artifacts inside to look and read about. It also has a great selection of items and souvenirs to look at and purchase. The bathrooms were also tidy. The rangers are really nice and very helpful. We will come back again to bring our family."

"I got there a little late, but the ladies at the counter were so nice! The video shown when I visited seemed a little outdated, but the exhibits were still very interesting. Actually walking through the monument was awesome. Gorgeous views and so incredible/humbling to walk through this piece of history. I'm a novice hiker but the paths were easily walkable for me. I ran out of time so I didn't get to walk the full park but I can't wait to go again and explore more!"

"Beautiful trails, friendly staff, cute souvenirs! This place is great for families. They have an interactive museum that keeps younger kids busy for a bit while you look at the shop. Staff provide maps for the trails and help you pick the best path. They don't take cash in the shop! Otherwise, great experience."
