"TRUCKERS: This is in my top 5 favorite truck stops in the country. It's huge–almost never runs out of spots. Showers are great, has good authentic Mexican food (their tamales are excellent; buy them in bulk and you've got lunch/dinner for the next week), and the Iron Skillet is one of the few with a buffet which runs every day. To boot, there is a Blue Beacon in the middle of the property. I've even gotten work done at the shop, and customer service was excellent. If I have to do a 34 anywhere near Chicago, I'm doing it here. Currently, they are in the middle of a remodel on the chrome shop side, and adding an entirely new set of pumps close to the building. Pretty soon, this place is going to be even better."

"Very clean restrooms. I needed to shave and change my shirt but didn't need to do a shower. The trucker restroom in the back of the building provides a separate 5 sink/mirror facility away from the toilets. The set up was great for minor personal hygiene without going overboard."

"This Petro Travel Center has plenty of truck parking around the area. There is an Iron Skillet restaurant inside and even a nice authentic Mexican restaurant as well. The restrooms and showers are clean and very well maintained. Employees here are very nice and helpful."
