"I love coming here and spending time on the deck outside. It is so peaceful to be near the water. They also have a wonderful activity room that shares information about Shelbyville that is perfect for children. There are also extra rooms for events and meetings that can be rented out as well."

"Easy access..great fishing...even has life jacket for the kids on the honor system!! Cleaning stations and even a dock with seating...picnic areas and a beach within the same park...a nature center and downtown district close...come stay a weekend. .motels, cabins or camping...its all here"

"I like the poster board that they have mounted to the outside, front of their building because they post flyers that gives the details of the upcoming local events. Pretty convenient since I don't ever get the Eagle Reader (local newspaper)."
