2 months ago"Stopped in wee hours of morning to use restroom and stretch to keep me alert for last 3 hours of driving. I was traveling alone, and felt very safe. Well lit. Grounds well maintained. I was happy to have several choices for spots to park extremely close to building that restrooms were in."

7 months ago"This is definitely a great place to stop. I like stopping here because it has a lot of room to walk my dog. I like that they also have picnic tables to sit at and have a bite to eat. Clean restrooms. All round nice rest area."

a year ago"Heading south/west on I-44 out of Saint Louis, I made it this far before I decided that I didn't want to roll the dice with the deer. Yes, I had seen one or two standing on the side of the road and I had seen five or six lying on the side of the road. I don't want that, so I'm here for the night. Not the quietest rest area but it was good enough when I arrived at 8:30 pm and I was asleep by 9 after visiting the restroom and brushing my teeth. I took the last "car" space that is close to the trees so that I had at least some buffer from the noise."
