Ste. Geneviève National Historical Park

"I highly recommend stopping here before you explore Ste. Genevieve. They have free maps, wonderful/informative displays, and very knowledgeable staff. There are also National Park souvenirs and Passport books and stickers. Some of the historic buildings are right across the street, some with scheduled, guided tours. A really cool town, with a cool history, and the staff at the National Historical Park/Visitor Center are the best people for the job. Thank you!"

"I stopped by during the week and there was no one there but my mom and I .The ladies there very knowledgeable about the town and it's history. They were able to suggest a book about my 6th great grandfather, Charles La Vallee."

"Interesting place. Inside you can see pieces of the original home and there are rocks (gems?) to look at from the area. Lots of historical information. Kind of like a mini museum. Only thing, I wish they had souvenirs from Ste Genevieve instead of Missouri only."
