"We stopped here for a break on a long drive from Nashville to Big Bend NP. It was fantastic and very informative. The staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed running around the Texas sign and we were able to get some literature about the Big Bend area for the drive down, along with a state map since much of our journey was going to have spotty cell range. Overall a really good state visitor center."

"Tons of brochures and trip guides categorized by Texas region. Nice bathroom. They also have TX flowers and many other booklets/brochures for TX in general in the last aisle. Well worth the stop!"

"Traveled across a lot of states. But, this is a must see stop. Highly recommend it. State flowers image, boots and hats made out of the state map, and much much more. Ya'll stop by now... Ya hear..."
