Only animals we seen however was a statue of a turtle and a stuffed shark! Best place to stop for a picture of the sign though."

Kiddos were most excited for the baby gator. Inside had lots of maps and info guides for things to do while in Texas. Kiddos got a picture with the giant star. Overall great stop on a road trip."

The boardwalk is so beautiful and relaxing. There are lots of spots to sit and experience nature. I stopped by on a July afternoon and it is HOT and there’s no shade (so bring a sunhat, spf, and water if you wanna chill for an extended period of time). Note that as of July 7, 2025 there are no restrooms. It’s a lovely place to take a nice break though!"
