The facilities were spotless, safe, and beautifully maintained. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even gave my toddler a free practice coloring book and kindly pointed out that all the tour guides, maps, and books on the shelves are free for visitors. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly valued. This rest area isn’t just a place to take a break it’s educational, organized, and a wonderful introduction to the state. Anyone traveling into Texas should make it a point to stop here, not only for a clean and safe place to rest but also to pick up free tour guides and helpful resources for exploring the Lone Star State."

This rest area includes extras like an information center all about Texas and clean bathrooms. This rest area is unique because it offers a small restaurant coffee shop for lunch and snacks. It is truly a nice place to stop in and learn about Texas."

It features a clean environment, well-maintained restrooms, ample parking spaces, an information center with brochures for historical and entertainment attractions, nearby snack machines, picnic areas, and beautiful landscaping with trees."
