3 years ago"A good desert area in lovely scenery area. Plenty of stores, resturaunts of variety, variety fast food.. #1 place i definately reccomend in VV ( Victorville) is Mojave Regional Park . I implore dear neighbors out there, please drive safely and be cautious driving the long main roads"

5 months ago"I took the train from ABQ to VRV round trip. The Victorville station needs a building especially considering the train is scheduled to arrive at 4am and depart at 8pm. Homeless hang out there, limited lighting, and absolutely no covers at all. On my round trip I had a roomette. Highly disappointed in the condition considering how much im charged. One outlet, does not hold the plug in. When ordering food on both trips it was either wrong and/or cold. I meet one person when I got on the train in VRV and he asked if I wanted dinner. I said no im going to bed. I thought they would turn down the bed but I did it myself. The lavatory is incredibly small and the water shoots out like a jet getting water everywhere. I use Amtrak all the time. I expect to gwt what I pay for. Either that or lower your prices, hotels don't even charge the high price these roomettes are and they have a hack of a lot more room. I Amtrak makes some changes and makes it easier economically for its passengers."
