Waskom Travel Information Center

"I drove in from Louisiana on I-20 and stopped for a restroom break and to look at tourist information. It's a spacious place with lots of brochures and booklets about Texas categorized by major regions. As I was walking out with several brochures, a sweet young lady behind the counter offered me a bag to hold my stuff. So nice! Plenty of parking spaces including RV and 18-wheeler parking. There are covered picnic tables outside. Vending machines are also outside by the entrance into the building."

"Very nice and clean travel center. Lots of information here for places to see and things to do in Texas. Caution this travel center is right on the state line. It is easy to miss the entrance so be very careful."

"I didn't go in the tourist center, but used the restroom & walked my dog. Several nice looking picnic pavilions. Parking for cars, RVs & trucks. There was a small adjacent restaurant (looks like a shack) with good food."
