The Texas Star photo opportunity is perfect for capturing a memorable shot, and the walking deck in the back is lined with informative historical markers, offering a small but interesting educational experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about local attractions, routes, and things to see along the way. The center itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. "This is an amazing rest stop. Build over the water. You can walk out on the elevated walk way. We say where an alligator has made its nest and the trail it used. We also saw two rabbets and a bunch of birds. Very clean rest rooms. Great staff in the visitors center. So much information can be found here. Well worth a stop and walk around."
