Willow Creek Rest Area Southbound

"Very well maintained and safe rest area with clean restrooms. There is also picnic tables outside and a nice area to relax or exercise. Plenty of truck parking available at this rest area right off interstate 39."

"As a truck driver this is number one stop of my week every week. Great place to stop and check out the area with plenty of parking trucks and cars. Has a good assortment of vending machines. Also has great clean bathrooms and a cool upstairs viewing area."

"Nice rest stop. Clean bathrooms. Playground. Beautiful mowed grassy trail thru the nearby wildflower meadow featuring many native plants and flowers including butterfly weed, wild bergamot, hedge bindweed, grey dogwood, roldernrod and more! Great for relaxing and stretching your legs."

"Very nice setup here twice the normal truck spots. It has a play ground, picnic tables and some have a roof over them. Plenty of garbage cans and building is nice new modern and bigger than most you see. Beautiful landscaping and gas onsite staff. Place was clean inside and out and no nasty odors to deal with. Will definitely stop here again if I get a chance to."

"Roadtrip rest stop. Willow River offers the convenience of dual rest stops on interstate 39 outside of Paw Paw with southbound and northbound facilities. Southbound was the direction we were headed and we were pleasantly surprised with the expansive, maintained grounds. Wildflower restoration, dog exercise/potty area, large playground, numerous picnic tables and shelters, public bathrooms, parking for autos and semis/RVs and a Blue Star Memorial Highway placard. Built on a hillside the structure offers two floors with easy access to multiple bathrooms, weather/travel information and vending machines. Playground could use a little TLC with weed control and a fresh covering of wood chips."
